I was really pleased with what mum achieved at the last fundraiser. She did quite well for me and got rid of a few business cards with some customers saying they would contact me in the near future.
There was one lady who had picked up one of the tiara's for sale (not currently available on the website, due for lauching this month) and really liked it but was toying over whether to buy it or not. She went away to look at some other stalls, came back 5 mins later as she had decided to buy it but it had gone! The lesson there is if you see something and you like it, just buy it as you may regret it if you don't.
Following the success I've been asked to go back and have a regular stall at thier future fairs.
My next fundraising venture is already planned - I will be at the Garsdale pub in Bury, Lancashire on Monday 24th November for their ladies evening. The pub is raising money for a local charity by having a few ladies running stalls selling differnet products. The ladies are being charged a small entrance fee to come in to purchase or just look around and all the stall holders are making a donation from their sales.
If anyone is in the area then please come along. As well as myself there will be a body shop rep and ladies selling handbags, candles, etc.
